Walking Up The Hakarimatas

We have been learning to use personification in our writing.
It was a cold winter morning when I went up the Hakarimatas. I was now at the steps. The frost was biting my fingers. The steps crunched because of the frost. The trees stood  as still as a post. There was silence because all the birds, insects and other animals were snuggled up.
